Our courses are run by RTA Class One Driving Instructors: Peter Finlay licence number 005666 and Daryl Cullen 010127.

Red and Green 'P' plate drivers as well as holders of unrestricted licences may also attend. Please be aware that the NSW Driving Instructors Act (1992) and Regulation (2003) prohibits the practical instruction of any 'L' plate or provisional-licence driver for a financial consideration unless the instructor holds the appropriate level of of RTA Instructor's licence. NDDS has suitable-qualified management and staff in attendance to comply with this legislation.

Some leading insurance companies may require their clients to advise them that they intend using their vehicle on a driving course and may ask they following questions for your car to be insured at a Car Control course:

1. What is the maximum speed allowed? Less than 100km/h.

2. How many cars in an exercise at any one time? One.

3. Is there any unsupervised or 'free' driving allowed? No.

4. How many students per instructor? Five (5) or fewer.

5. Is there any timing of cars? No.

6. Is a 'skid pan' used? No, NDDS uses a normal road with water sprays.

NB These answers apply to Car Control Courses conducted by Peter Finlay's Nationwide Defensive Driving School. These answers will usually be accepted by NRMA Insurance simply by advising that you intend attending a 'Pete
