RACING DRIVERS' COURSE CALENDAR 2008 & 2009

CAMS PC/CR/NR/NRJ/IR LICENCE COURSE

It is not necessary to attend the two day Racing Driver's Course in order to enroll in the Formula Ford Course but doing so may help you drive better and it allows you to enjoy a three-day course.

Only the 2 day course satisfies the criteria for the issue of a CAMS and Rally Observed Licence Test. The RDC course includes the PC lecture while CAMS provides Rally-specific lectures. CAMS member services will accept our recommendation in lieu of separate OLTs for each discipline.

Satisfactory completion of this course is also accepted by the promoters of Targa Tasmania for novice entrants.

*The Racing/Rally Drivers' Course has been approved by CAMS as an alternative to the new requirements for applicants for Rally Licences to pass an Observed Licence Test at 2 Motorkhanas. Successful graduation from at least one day of our RDC will satisfy this requirement. You will need to attend the special Rally lecture arranged by CAMS or online www.cams.com.au.

HSRCA regularity licence qualification may be obtained after satisfactory completion of the 2-day programme. Cadet drivers may attend Day 1 to satisfy their need to be trained for the issue of their special licences. The fee for either day taken separately is $385.00 inc GST.

Personal tuition in race/tarmac Rally driving is available at Wakefield Park to graduates and others. Fee is $550.00 inc GST for tuition plus minimal WP fees. Available on 'no speed limit' practice days in your car. Several graduates have cut over 4 seconds from their best lap time after this assistance.
